Offers in India are often quoted in lakhs per annum (LPA). This tool converts any pay rate into a monthly figure and other equivalents.

How does it work?

Pay is first annualised (hours × 52 weeks, days × 5 × 52, or months × 12) and then divided back into monthly, weekly, daily and hourly figures.

Formula

Monthly = Annual ÷ 12

Example

A ₹12 LPA package is ₹1,00,000 a month gross, ₹23,077 a week and about ₹577 an hour at 40 hours a week.
